Adeola Opeyemi is a writer, editor, and retired painter. Her work has appeared internationally, both online and in print, and has been translated into Spanish. She has edited several anthologies, including My Africa, My City and Obibinii Te Ase: An Anthology of New Writing from Ghana.

Her proposed novel, The Urgency of Loss, explores the fate of a multigenerational family torn apart by unanswered questions after the matriarch’s mysterious disappearance. Following a bitter argument with her husband, Anuli vanishes, leaving behind a web of rumours about her husband’s possible involvement in her disappearance.
